KED Programmes: Enterprise Start
Starting a Business in Ireland
Enterprise Start is aimed at people who have identified a business idea and wish to investigate and progress the idea towards actual business start-up. It is presented over six consecutive weekends (Friday evening and Saturday morning). Participants will explore what is involved in business start-up and will network with a group of other like-minded individuals.
On completion of the programme, participants will know what is involved in setting up a business and should be able to make an initial decision on enterprise start-up. Participants will also have a good route map of where to look for further assistance.
Programme delivery features a major involvement from practising entrepreneurs with a minimum of academic input. The programme is learner centered with emphasis on participation and involvement.
