About Unique Voice
Alison Boardman, MD Unique Voice has 15 years experience in the language services industries, in Europe and Asia. She was Director of Studies for an international school in Portugal and taught English for many years in Portugal, Italy and Hong Kong. Alison returned to Ireland to complete an MA in Online Language Teaching and is a guest lecturer in this field at the University of Limerick.
Unique Voice Translation and Language Service was established to meet the needs of the growing multi-cultural community and corporate markets.
Unique Voice Translation and Language Service clients can access over 600 expert translators across 30 different languages. All are native, qualified and experienced translators. Interpreters and language teachers are all native speakers and each is vetted to ensure they meet Unique Voice’s strict quality and expertise guidelines.
To maintain our commitment to excellence, Unique Voice maintains a continuous training programme with its interpreters who are trained not only in language skills but also in interpreting skills.
Interpreting Service
Community: Unique Voice works extensively with community care providers nationally including the Gardai, hospitals and crisis centers providing a timely, effective and confidential service.
Corporate: Corporate clients typically avail of our interpreting service for conferences for their international clients.
Translation Service
Community: Individuals can avail of our 3-5 day turnaround translation service for services such as legal certificates (marriage, birth, death, driving licences, etc).
Corporate: Whether clients need to translate legal documents or issue corporate compliance documentation such as Health and Safety/Manual Handling documents to employees, Unique Voice can help.
Language Teaching Service
Community: Individuals can avail of our English courses from beginner to advanced level, as well as Cambridge exam preparation classes. These 30 hour (10 week) courses are run three times a year - from September, January and June. French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese classes are also run throughout they year. The online component of our English courses allows our students to study at home and consult with the tutor by email.
Corporate: Unique Voice works closely with HR professionals to develop staff in language competence. This ensures maximum internal communications as well as compliance in corporate procedures, e.g. Health & Safety in different sectors, manufacturing, etc.
